Data deletion

How to have your data deleted.

This page covers the Instagram connection (the Fullroom Insights app) first, because that is what most people arrive here for, and then everything else. Each route says exactly what it deletes and what it leaves.

Instagram · route 1

Disconnect in Fullroom. Stops everything, keeps the history.

For a studio manager, or anyone above, with access to the studio in the staff app.

  • 1. Sign in at staff.fullroom.com.au.

  • 2. Open Settings, then the Studio tab, and pick the studio.

  • 3. On the Instagram card, choose Disconnect and confirm.

Deleted immediately: the connection and the Instagram access token. Fullroom can no longer read the account. Kept: posts and numbers already collected, so the studio's history is still there if it reconnects. To delete those too, use route 3.

Instagram · route 2

Remove the app, or ask for deletion, from Instagram.

For whoever holds the Instagram account's login. In the Instagram app or at instagram.com, go to the account's settings, find Website permissions, then Apps and websites, and remove Fullroom Insights. Instagram tells us, and we act on it automatically.

When the app is removed: the access token is deleted immediately and the studio's Instagram card shows that the connection has ended. Collected history is kept, as in route 1. When Instagram sends us a data deletion request: everything we hold from that account is deleted immediately (the connection, the token, every post and every number collected from it) and Instagram is given a confirmation code you can use to check the request.

Instagram · route 3

Email us. Deletes everything, including history.

Email privacy@fullroom.com.au with the subject "Delete Instagram data" and the Instagram username. Send it from the studio's email address, or be ready to show you control the account, so we do not delete a studio's data on a stranger's say-so.

We delete the connection, the token and every post and number collected from that account within 30 days, usually the same day, and reply to confirm when it is done. If we cannot delete something, the reply says what and why.

What is never kept

We never had the password, the messages or the comments.

The Instagram password is typed into Instagram, not Fullroom. The connection has no permission to read direct messages, comment text, or who liked or followed, so there is nothing of that kind to delete. The full list of what is collected is on the privacy page.

Everything else

Member and demo-form data.

If you are a member of a studio that uses Fullroom, ask your studio first; they control your account. You can also email privacy@fullroom.com.au and we will action it or pass it to the studio where that is the correct route. If you filled in the demo form on this site, email the same address and we will delete the enquiry from our inbox.
